SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police have determined that a suspicious bad found in the city’s South of Market neighborhood is not explosive.
Police got a call about the suspicious package at the busy intersection of 5th and Mission streets around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Roads were closed for about an hour as police checked out the bag.
They are now reopen, but there are still traffic delays in the area of 5th and Mission streets.
Mint Plaza will remain closed until officers complete their investigation.
