SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)– A wheelchair-bound man stabbed in the neck in San Francisco’s Bayview district suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
The attack happened near the intersection of Third Street and Hudson Avenue shortly before 1:20 p.m.
According to police, the victim was approached by the suspect and stabbed in the back of the neck. The suspect fled on foot and the victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where his injuries were declared life-threatening. The suspect was later apprehended, but a motive for the attack is still unclear.
