SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man was shot in the stomach in Potrero Hill during an attempted robbery on Friday night. A 38-year-old victim was near 19th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue around 10:30 p.m. when two male suspected approached him, police said.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at the man and demanded his property. The other suspect was holding a taser gun, and aiming it at the victim. When the victim refused, the man shot him in the stomach, according to police.
Police did not say whether the suspects stole the victim’s property following the shooting.
Both suspects fled the scene in a truck, described as gray or silver in color, and have not been arrested, according to police.
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
