Earlier today, Napa police launched a manhunt for a suspect who was involved in a deadly shooting. The man, wanted in connection with a homicide in Yountville this morning, led police on a pursuit that ended near the Sonoma-Napa county line on private property. The suspect died of self-inflicted gunshot wound following a standoff with police.
Last Friday, officers were preparing to serve a search warrant for drugs and firearms in the area of Spring Street and Hill Avenue. The suspect in the search fired at officers.
