Two Bodies Found In Napa Apartment Complex

NAPA (KRON) — Two people were found dead in the North Bay this afternoon marking a deadly day in Napa.

The bodies of two unidentified people were discovered inside a unit at the Glen View apartments located at 601 River Glen Dr.

One of the deceased, a 55-year-old woman, appears to have been deceased for about a month. The second deceased, a 66-year-old man, had been dead for a week.

Napa Police Department is currently conducting a suspicious death investigation.

Earlier today, Napa police launched a manhunt for a suspect who was involved in a deadly shooting. The man, wanted in connection with a homicide in Yountville this morning, led police on a pursuit that ended near the Sonoma-Napa county line on private property. The suspect died of self-inflicted gunshot wound following a standoff with police.

Last Friday, officers were preparing to serve a search warrant for drugs and firearms in the area of Spring Street and Hill Avenue. The suspect in the search fired at officers.

“Officers contacted the 41-year-old Latino male who was the subject of the warrant and a shooting ensued,” Napa Police Department said. “Officers located a handgun at the scene of the shooting.”
