SAN MATEO COUNTY (KRON) — A 48-year old man was arrested Tuesday morning, accused of trying to run a motor home into a gate on his neighbor’s property.
The man, Geoffrey Goldsberry was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and destruction of vehicle identification numbers, also known as VIN.
The San Mateo Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Judson Drive around 7:30 Tuesday morning.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation into Goldsberry after complaints from his neighbor.
The neighbor told deputies that Goldsberry tried to drive a 24-foot Dodge Sportsman motor home into the locked gate of his house.
The motor home was not able to get through the gate.
Sheriff’s officials say that Goldsberry had an ongoing dispute with his neighbors about property rights and access to adjoining properties.
After his arrest, Goldsberry was booked into the county jail.
