DANVILLE (KRON)– A 30-year-old Dublin man is facing charges after being arrested Friday for an attempted break-in at the Danville Library.
Police received a call from a resident who said someone was attempting to break into the library.
Two officers responded and found Matthew Hammack who appeared to be trying to pry open a door with a tool.
Police received another call about a man exiting another building with several items.
Officers matched the description of the suspect in the second robbery to Hammack and charged him with that break-in as well.
Hammack was charged with burglary and attempted burglary and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
