Teens Arrested in Cell Phone, Marijuana Concord Robbery

CONCORD (BCN) — Two teens are in custody after they apparently robbed another teen of his cell phone and marijuana in his home in Concord Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The 18-year-old victim was at home in the 1000 block of Rolling Woods Way just after 2 p.m. when two suspects entered through a side yard and confronted him in his house, according to Lt. Darrell Graham.

The suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun, stole marijuana and a cell phone from the victim before fleeing in a car, Graham said.

Officers located the car and found four 17-year-olds inside, along with the gun, cell phone and marijuana. The gun turned out to be unloaded, Graham said.

Two of the teens were identified as the suspects involved in the robbery, and arrested on suspicion of robbery, possession of marijuana and criminal conspiracy.
