NOVATO (KRON) — Police have arrested a Novato man after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home to assault and threatened her.
According to Novato police, Armando Ochoa, 41, was arrested after police were called at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday to the 1800 block of Novato Boulevard, where his ex-girlfriend reported that he committed a series of assaults against her, police said.
Police say Ochoa allegedly forced his way into the woman’s home at least four times during the week of April 5th. The victim says there has been a history of harassment.
A Marin County Superior Court judge has issued an emergency protective order against Ochoa, who is also accused of violating his probation, police said.
