SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A 19-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh in San Francisco’s Bayview district Sunday morning, according to police.
The teen was struck by a bullet that was shot from a silver vehicle, around 10:40 a.m. in the 100 block of Cashmere Street near Hudson Avenue, according to police.
The victim was walking on the sidewalk when a silver vehicle described as a newer SUV or van approached, police said.
Someone in the vehicle shot the teen, striking him in the thigh. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he was treated for injuries deemed non life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and police are trying to determine a motive.
