Warriors pull ahead for the series, win Game 5 98-78

OAKLAND (KRON) -- The Warriors have pulled ahead in the in second round of the NBA playoffs, beating the Memphis Grizzlies 98-78.

They have won three games, the Grizzlies just two.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was apprehensive going into Wednesday's game, saying "the only thing we've done is get home court back, which is great. But there's no guarantees of anything. You have to compete. You got to play. We have to come with the same mindset, the same approach."

Game 6 will be Friday, May 15 in Memphis. Tip off will be at 7:30 Bay Area time.

If a seventh game is needed, it will be back at the Oracle Arena on Sunday. A time for that game has not yet been announced.
