MORGAN HILL (KRON) — A man who found found in a car on the side of the U.S. Highway 101 near Morgan Hill has died.
Around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, a passerby called officers with the CHP about a person who was partially handing out of a car on the side of the northbound 101, just south of Bailey Avenue.
When emergency medical crews and officers got there, they found a man with his legs hanging out of the car and immediately started CPR.
Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead around 1 p.m.
The man’s name has not yet been released, but officials with the CHP say that he was a 64-year-old San Jose resident.
The man’s vehicle wasn’t involved in a crash, nor do there seem to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
