SANTA ROSA (KRON) — A Windsor man is in jail after being arrested in Santa Rosa Monday night on suspicion of his fifth DUI in seven years.
27-year-old Hector Pulido-Gonzalez was stopped on the southbound 101 near River Road around 9:15. CHP officials say that he was driving his Dodge Charger at more than 80 miles per hour.
Pulido-Gonzalez told the officer that he was on his way to pick up his daughter.
The officer arrested Pulido-Gonzalez after he failed a field sobriety test in a parking lot on Hopper Avenue in Santa Rosa.
Records show that Pulido-Gonzalez had previously been arrested for DUI four different times in the past seven years. CHP Officer Jon Sloat said that he is still on probation for the most recent one.
Along with the DUI arrests, Pulido-Gonzalez’s license has also been suspended or revoked 11 times.
Pulido-Gonzalez was charged with suspicion of DUI, driving on a suspended license and a probation violation. He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail.
