OAKLAND (KRON) — 72-year-old Gary Liss has had season tickets to the Warriors for 53 years. Liss boasted, “day 1, when they moved here from Philadelphia, I was in the front row.”
Being a season ticket holder for so long has its perks, Liss has amazing seats now.
He was at there for the 1974-1975 Warriors Championship games, even keeping the tickets. At that time, a VIP seat only cost $10.
Liss’ tickets have gone up considerably since then, but he admits that he’s had a lot of perks. He has traveled with the team and met lots of celebrities at the games.
This season, Liss was sidelined with pneumonia for two months. He says he’s not fully recovered, but he’s getting there and is ready to see the Warriors win the championship.
