SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KRON) – A 6-year-old Sacramento girl whose body was found burned after she was reported missing died of a blow to the head, autopsy reports revealed.
Jadianna Larsen’s charred body was found 90 miles from her home on May 28th, after she was reported missing from her home.
Glenn County Sheriff Richard L. Warren Jr. said Wednesday that Jadianna Larsen suffered blunt force trauma.
Twenty-five-year-old Juan Rivera, who was Jadianna’s mother’s boyfriend, was babysitting Larsen when he claimed he suffered a seizure. When he came to, he told police he discovered Jadianna was missing.
Rivera, and his mother, 46-year-old Lisa Suzanne Burton, were arraigned earlier this month in connection with the killing.
According to Prosecutors, Rivera killed Jadiana and Burton served as an accessory after the crime was committed.
Rivera and Burton will return to court Aug. 7.
