Bank robber strikes near Ferry Building

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Police are looking for a 40- to 50-year-old man who robbed a bank along the San Francisco waterfront Thursday afternoon.

Police said the robbery took place at about 1:30 p.m. in unit block of The Embarcadero, near the Ferry Building.

The armed suspect approached a teller window and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the bank, police said. He remained at large this morning.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department.
