SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — People are still just learning about the shooting death of Kate Steinle, and they continue to leave loving messages on Kate’s Facebook page.
Steinle was shot and killed Wednesday night on San Francisco’s Pier 14 along the Embarcadero. A 45-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with her death.
One message says, “You never stopped laughing or making people laugh. Right along side you kiddo. You’ve left a big space that’s going to be impossible to fill.”
Another message says, “My heart is broken. I love you sweet Kate. Many prayers for your family.”
And another user said, “I’m just hearing this tragic news Kate. So special. Prayers to your family for this senseless act that has taken you far too soon. God bless.”
Kate’s sister-in-law told KRON 4 that Kate was a successful medical device sales representative who loved helping people. She was walking along the Pier with her father when she was shot.
