SAN JOSE (KRON) — A 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed last month in San Jose has been identified as Johnathan Natareno, a police spokesman confirmed today.
Natareno was murdered around 10:20 p.m. on June 26th in the area of Pensacola and Terilyn Avenues, according to officer Albert Morales.
Arriving officers found Natareno on a sidewalk suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Morales said.
Natareno was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after officers arrived.
Natareno was a San Jose resident, according to police.
So far, it is unclear what was the motive for the killing. Investigators are focusing on circumstances of the murder.
No arrests have been made.
