Fire crews contain East Bay fire

DANVILLE (KRON) — Crews from Cal Fire and San Ramon Valley Fire Department contained a brush fire that burned 60 acres in Danville.

The fire was reported Tuesday around 11:15 a.m. near Sycamore Valley Elementary School at 2200 Holbrook Drive, officials said.

Danville city officials tweeted just before 1 p.m. that the fire had been containted but firefighters remained on scene to make sure it was completely out.

No injuries or structure damage was reported.
