SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An Ivy League diploma won’t necessarily guarantee a job for the latest millennial graduates.
Many of the country’s largest employers are more interested in things like strong people and communication skills.
A senior V-P at Google says that the company really doesn’t care where you went to school or what grades you received in college.
He says Google is now seeking students from state-run universities and that people from those colleges are often just as good, if not better than those from an Ivy League school.
Other company executives look for a combination of grit and passion.
