SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Crews are working to fix misaligned lanes across the Presidio Parkway late Monday night.
Several lanes have been shut down while crews fix the problem, including at least two southbound lanes.
KRON 4 was the first to break the story Monday morning during our newscast and on our website.
Rushed weekend construction of a major artery leading from San Francisco to the Golden Gate Bridge caused problems due to misaligned lanes entering the Park Presidio tunnel.
Caltrans closed lanes at 10 p.m. Monday to correct the problem. Lines will be extended through the tunnel and the possible need for additional signage will be evaluated. It is not known how long the closures will be in effect nor how many lanes will be impacted.
