ANTIOCH (KRON) — Antioch police arrested a man suspected of breaking into several homes in the East Bay, according to police.
The Concord Police Department’s violence suppression unit took Jason Lee Harris, 31, into custody during a traffic stop around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Police said Harris had been breaking into homes through unlocked doors and windows at night.
They arrested him on Lone Tree Way in Antioch as he was driving with another passenger, believed to be his relative.
Police say he burglazied over a dozen homes.
Harris was booked at the Concord Police Department Jail on the outstanding warrant and was later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. His bail was set at $50,000.
Two victims had identified Harris as the burglar who had entered their home, police said.
