SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police are investigating a shooting Thursday night near Cesar Chavez and Harrison streets, according to SFPD spokesman Albie Esparaza.
Police said the shooting happened at around 7 p.m. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Because of the shooting, the 27-Bryant MUNI has been re-routed as a result of the police activity, the San Francisco Municipal Transit Authority said.
Police would not comment further on the shooting. They have closed off the area, so commuters should expect delays in the area.
