Bay Area residents try to beat the heat, humidity

CONCORD (KRON) — It started to heat up early in the Bay Area Monday, especially in the East Bay in the morning.

So, KRON 4’s Terisa Estacio headed out to discover what people decided to do to keep their cool.

It was certainly a hot one in the East Bay, especially when you factor in the humidity. But still, people were coping, and they were doing their best to try and deal with the conditions.

With the sun beating down and the humidity going up, this was a day to just try and hang in there. At 9 a.m. in Walnut Creek Monday, it was already 78 degrees.

Waterworld was another good option for many trying to beat the heat.
