ALAMEDA (KRON) — Police in the city of Alameda are stepping up their night time patrols after a recent spike in burglaries.
KRON 4’s Charles Clifford talked to worried neighbors. The Alameda Police Department said that in recent days, at least four locations, mostly on the west side of town, have been burglarized during the early morning hours.
Among other spots, thieves are believed to have visited a home along Linden and the Roadway Inn on Webster street.
Surveillance cameras at the inn captured images of a man police believe may be responsible for at least one of the burglaries.
