SAN ANSELMO (KRON) — On Friday night, one town is taking the future of one of its parks into its own hands.
Neighbors of Millennial Park in San Anselmo collected enough signatures to put a flood plan on the ballot. The plan would turn a popular park into a retention area in case of a flood.
Opponents said the benefits of the project are not worth what it will cost the park and its patrons.
KRON 4’s Emily Turner reports on a proposal that may go for a vote by the city in November.
