San Mateo (KRON) — UPDATE: All lanes on Highway 92 have been re-opened, according to CHP. A major crash involving a motorcyclist and a garbage truck was blocking state Highway 92 on the way to Half Moon Bay this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash on state Highway 92 near Skyline Boulevard was reported at 11:24 a.m., CHP officials said.
The motorcyclist suffered a broken right leg and a broken left knee according to CHP. The driver of the other vehicle has no reported injuries at this time.
The motorcyclist was traveling east bound when he lost control and fell in the westbound lane slamming into dump truck.
As of now CHP has re-opened all lanes.
