CONCORD (BCN) — A person suffered minor injuries this afternoon in a collision in Concord, police said.
The first officers responded at 1:53 p.m. to a report of a collision involving two vehicles in the intersection of Cowell Road and Babel Lane, police spokesman Cpl. Nick Boccio said.
Boccio said the person suffered a laceration to the wrist and complained of pain. The person went to a hospital, he said.
One of the vehicles rolled on its side and air bags deployed in both vehicles, he said.
Police have ruled out drugs and alcohol as causes of the collision. He said based on driver and witness accounts, one of the drivers drove through a red light.
But police are still investigating the cause, he said.
