Two-alarm fire destroys two businesses, none injured

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Firefighters are extinguishing a two-alarm fire at a convenience store in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 10:15 a.m. It started at the Riptide bar at 3639 Taraval St. between 46th and 47th avenues and spread to the Great Highway Market at 3633 Taraval St., fire officials said. A second alarm was called at 10:27 a.m.

San Francisco Municipal Railway service is disrupted. The L-Taraval light-rail trains are switching back inbound at Sunset Boulevard, Muni officials said. Bus shuttles are being sent to supplement service.

No injuries have been reported in the fire, according to the fire department. However, the two businesses were destroyed due to fire, water, and smoke according to fire officials.
