Commercial burglar arrested after robbing pizza restaurant

MILPITAS (KRON) — Milpitas Police Officers responded to a call around 3:12 a.m. Friday of a reported alarm activation. Officers arrived at Stuft Pizza on 1426 Dempsey Rd. and discovered the door had been opened and a burglary occurred.

After reviewing surveillance cameras, an officer recognized the burglary suspect as Craig Irvin Brayfield from prior contacts. Brayfield is a local transient in Milpitas.

At 6:52 a.m., officers found Brayfield at a local transient encampment in Milpitas. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for burglary.
