BURLINGAME (KRON) — The dog seen in a video being picked up by the neck, slammed to the ground, and slapped repeatedly — allegedly by a pet sitter — has been identified and examined by a veterinarian.
KRON4’s Maureen Kelly has the latest on the dog’s condition and the status of the criminal investigation.
Frisco, a 6-year-old male Spaniel mix, was being looked over by the staff at the Peninsula Humane Society. They said the dog is in good health and shows no sign of permanent injury.
They were expecting to turn over the case to the district attorney Monday.
Police have been called in to look into criminal threats made against the pet sitter.
