SAN JOSE (KRON) — A teenager eager to be a part of Bay Area Fashion Week is accusing a model recruiter of sexually assaulting him. That boy remains in the hospital tonight.
KRON4’s Alecia Reid spoke with the teen’s mother, who believes there are more victims out there.
Directing a photo shoot as models prepare for Bay Area Fashion Week, Roger Francisco is accused of sexually assaulting a male model that showed up to his office on Friday.
He’s donning shades with a busted lip, and bruises on his face. KRON4 sat down with the alleged victim’s mother who didn’t want to show her face on camera in order to protect her son’s identity. She said after fighting off his attacker, the teenager called police, then her.
“He said, ‘Mom he touched me,”‘ the teen’s mom said. “I didn’t know how to react because I didn’t know where he was.”
The victim’s mother rushed to the modeling office on West Santa Clara Street, where she found police and the suspect in handcuffs.
Francisco, who denies all accusations, was thrown in jail, but bailed out Saturday evening.
The victim had stitches on his hands from hitting his attacker. His mother said her son had a mental breakdown after finding out that the man who allegedly violated him was out on bail.
The 18-year-old will remain in the hospital for the next 72 hours under psychological watch. Meanwhile, Francisco is due in court Tuesday afternoon.
