SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Dog owners near San Francisco’s Stern Grove Park are on alert Monday night after a viscous coyote attack.
KRON4’s Kate Cagle has details on how hundreds of people have helped one little dog survive.
Eddie the dog was off-leash Wednesday with his owner Bruce and brother Luke.
It was 7 a.m. when a coyote snatched Eddie and ran back into the brush. Police helped rescue the dog, and the coyote was not hurt.
A group of regulars at the park said they have been spooked for weeks over coyote sightings.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for Eddie.
