WALNUT CREEK (KRON) — Monday afternoon firefighters responded to a water main next to a broken hydrant at Newell Avenue and South Main Street in Walnut Creek at 2:00 p.m..
According to police, a dump truck hit a fire hydrant which cause the hydrant to break. There is a lot of construction going on in the area.
Walnut Creek police and firefighters left the scene at 2:15 p.m.
