MORAGA (BCN) — Police are asking residents to be on the lookout after a man reportedly attempted to entice two girls into his truck in Moraga Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The girls were walking on Camino Pablo, near the Camino Pablo Elementary School, when the man reportedly drove up to them and asked if they could come with him to help find his dog, police said.

The girls ran away from the man and quickly summoned help. Police said they received the report at 2:50 p.m. The car drove off on Camino Pablo towards Canyon Road, police said.

Police described the person as a white man between 30- and 40-years-old with short, light-colored hair and a clean-shaven face. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and sunglasses, police said.

The car was described as a white, two-door pickup truck with a lumber rack and a decal on the passenger door, although police said there could be a matching decal on the driver’s side door.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Moraga police at (925) 284-5010.
