Solano County Sheriff’s Office releases photos of vehicles of interest in August killing

SOLANO COUNTY (BCN) — The Solano County Sheriff’s Office released photos of two vehicles Tuesday that might have been in the area of a fatal shooting of a woman in her car last month.

The sheriff’s office is asking the public to help identify the vehicles of interest, a gray, pewter or silver vehicle and a blue or black vehicle.

A’Tierra Westbrook, 21, was shot in the driver’s seat of a white sedan in the 300 block of Benicia Road in unincorporated Solano County near Vallejo on Aug. 3. Westbrook was leaving for work around 7:15 a.m. when she was hit multiple times by gunfire, struck a parked car and died at the scene, Solano County Sheriff’s Deputy Christine Castillo said.

A suspect, described as a tall skinny male in a gray hooded sweatshirt, was seen entering a blue or silver sedan that fled south on Sperry Avenue immediately after the shooting, Castillo said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Solano County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 421-7050 or Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-STOP if they wish to remain anonymous.
