California Academy of Sciences offering free admission to residents affected by Valley Fire

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco is doing their part to help those affected by the Valley Fire according to the Academy Press Office.

Through September 30, museum admission will be free to residents of areas affected by the disaster including Lake, Napa, and Sonoma counties.

Residents with the following zip codes will be granted free admission with proof of residency: 95422, 95435, 95443, 95457, 95461, 95426, 95451, 95441, 95448, 95449, 95467, 94567, 94574 and 94515.

With many families and children displaced from homes and schools, the Academy hopes to offer those affected by the fire’s devastation a safe and educational place to visit during the difficult time.

The Academy offers an aquarium, planetarium, natural history museum and a four-story rain-forest all under one living roof.

Admission includes access to all exhibits, planetarium shows, and programs.
