Stanford upsets USC in Rivalry Game by double digits

LOS ANGELES (KRON) — The Stanford Cardinal upset the 6th ranked USC Trojans 41-31 Saturday night in their Rivalry Game Saturday night.

The Pac-12 Rivals put on a showcase in Southern California with the Bay Area school having the the upper hand.

Kevin Hogan was accurate all game, connecting on 18 of 23 passes, for 279 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Christian McCaffrey made sure the run game was solid as well, running for 115 yards on 26 carries. Austin Hooper led the team with four receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown.

The Cardinal will next take on Oregon State Friday.
