LIVERMORE (KRON) — A sixth person is reported to be injured from the deadly Livermore crash that killed a prominent East Bay professional.
Tuesday morning, an SUV drove into the LifestyleRX gym. Police said the driver meant to put the car into reverse but hit the gas pedal instead, leading to the accident.
49-year-old Kathy Baker was attending a class when she was killed. Baker was the CFO of the Livermore National Laboratory.
No charges have been filed against the 80-year-old driver.
And police said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
