OAKLAND (KRON) — Fans going to the Oakland A’s game against the Giants at O.co Coliseum this afternoon are strongly encouraged to take public transit.

Team officials encouraged fans to take BART to the ballpark for the 1:05 p.m. game.

For those driving, the O.co Coliseum parking gates open two and half hours prior to game time.

The San Francisco Giants were eliminated from the wild-card contention Friday night, losing to Sonny Gray and the Oakland Athletics 5-4.

Let’s see how this Battle of the Bay ends.
