Debris on US 101 causes nine flat tires

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON) — Nine vehicles driving on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in Mountain View received flat tires this morning as a result of debris in the roadway.

Around 3:44 a.m., CHP dispatchers first received a report of the vehicles encountering debris on the highway’s southbound lanes, just north of the South Shoreline Boulevard off-ramp, according to CHP officials.

By 4:12 a.m., crews had removed all large pieces of debris from the roadway, CHP officials said.
