MORGAN HILL (KRON) — Morgan Hill police arrested a man last week in connection with an armed robbery of a Morgan Hill liquor store earlier this year.
Police picked up the suspect, Paul Inniss on September. 25 for an outstanding warrant for his arrest in the March robbery at Paul’s Quik Stop, located at 215 W. Main Ave., according to police.
California Highway Patrol officers stopped Inniss for speeding in Mendocino County. Officers discovered Inniss had a warrant for his arrest and alerted Morgan Hill police.
On March 23, around 10:20 p.m., Inniss entered the store and brandished a firearm at two employees, demanding money from the cash register, according to police.
The employees complied and handed Inniss an undisclosed amount of cash and Inniss fled on foot, police said.
Officers used the store’s surveillance video to identify him.
