Clearlake man dies after motorcycle falls down ravine in Calistoga

NAPA COUNTY (KRON) — A motorcyclists died in a crash north of Calistoga Sunday evening.

The California Highway Patrol has identified a motorcyclist as Paul Clancy, 55, of Clearlake.

Clancy was driving on state Highway 29 just north of Tubbs Lane in unincorporated Napa County when his 1982 Yahama went down a ravine, CHP Officer Anna Paulson said.

CHP officials received the first report of the crash at 6:16 p.m. on Sunday.

A passing motorist reported the crash and emergency responders found Clancy with no pulse, Paulson said.

Clancy was pronounced dead at the scene.
