SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Uber launched its new delivery service in San Francisco Wednesday.
It is called UberRush. It offers consumers a way to get same-day delivery of products. The delivery cost ranges from $5 to $6.
UberRush differs from services like Postmates because it is only designed to deliver, not to place an order.
Users will be able to select the UberRush option in the app, but they will not be offered the opportunity to order the actual products.
Businesses need to sign up to offer UberRush as a delivery method.
