ALAMEDA (KRON) — Oakland Raiders star defensive end Justin Tuck is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a torn pectoral muscle, according to an ESPN report.
Citing league sources, ESPN reported that Tuck will have surgery soon and be put on injured reserve.
The 2-3 Raiders have a bye this week and return Oct. 25 at San Diego Chargers.
A person familiar with the situation tells The Associated Press that the Oakland Raiders plan to put defensive end Justin Tuck on season-ending injured reserve because of a torn pectoral muscle.
Tuck was hurt early in the fourth quarter while tackling Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson in Sunday’s 16-10 loss.
