Rob Black’s Winners and Losers: Apple Music, Star Wars and Warren Buffett

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — On today’s edition of Rob Black’s Winners and Losers, our financial expert Rob Black and KRON 4’s Mark Danon to talk about Apple Music users, Star Wars ticket sales and Warren Buffett stocks.

Apple lost millions of Music users when the free trial ended but 6.5 million stayed and will pay for the service. Apple beat their 5 million user expectation and Black says that the numbers aren’t bad considering they’ve only been around for 3 months.

The force is too strong for cinemas selling ‘Star Wars’ tickets…Consumers seeking to buy advance tickets to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” found themselves out of luck when several theater websites like Fandango and AMC Theatres crashed, apparently overwhelmed by the large volume of orders.

Warren Buffett just lost another $500 million on his IBM stocks. The company’s shares fell $7.22 Tuesday morning in premarket trading after a weak earnings report.
