SAN JOSE (KRON) — Volunteers built children’s playhouses at San Jose’s Christmas in the Park Friday afternoon as part of a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.
The volunteers built giant gingerbread-looking holiday houses for children. PG&E, NetApp, Paul Mitchel, Orchard Supply Hardware, and Lam Research also were part of the fundraiser.
Christmas in the Park is located at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park in downtown San Jose, on Market Street between San Fernando and San Carlos streets.
That is across from the Tech Museum of Innovation and the Fairmont Hotel.
The park opens on Friday, Nov. 27 and runs for 38 days, according to the park’s website.
