BART’s Oakland Airport Connector service restored after mechanical issues

OAKLAND (BCN) — BART’s Oakland Airport Connector train has resumed service after mechanical issues shut it down earlier this morning, according to the agency.

BART officials issued an advisory shortly after 8:15 a.m. about the service disruption on the rail line between Oakland International Airport and the Coliseum station.

Bus service is being provided between the Coliseum station and the airport by Alameda-Contra Costa Transit, according to BART.

There was no estimate immediately available for when the connector rail line will resume service.
