SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — One-hundred kids with the Glide Family Services programs left the church Wednesday afternoon for a shopping spree.
After meeting Santa in front of Old Navy, each child had a $100 gift card to shop for whatever they wanted. They were accompanied by an Old Navy volunteer to help guide them through the store.
The shoppers ranged in age from 4 to 12 years old. This is the 20th year the children of Glide were given the opportunity to go shopping.
Old Navy is owned by San Francisco-based gap.
