Campbell police searching for attempted child luring suspect

CAMPBELL (KRON) — Campbell police are searching for a man who tried luring two middle school-aged girls into his car, police said.

It happened near Rosemary Elementary School on Eden Avenue and West Rosemary Lane.

Campbell police are looking into three incidents.

Two of them occurred on December 2 and 8—- where a man yelled verbal threats at girls to try to get them into his car. Both happened in the late afternoon.

And in November, there was a report of a man touching himself in front of an adult victim. The man is described as a Hispanic and in his 40s, with a medium build, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. During one incident, he was wearing an orange shirt and hooded sweatshirt.

The suspect vehicle is described as a red truck, with a black work rack, with possible paint rollers in the truck, according to police.

The incidents were both reported on Dec. 11

Investigators are still trying to determine if the incidents all are connected.
