DALY CITY (KRON) — Teenage drinking results in nearly 5,000 deaths a year, according to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
That is more than all other illegal drugs combined. And KRON’s Stanley Roberts shows, if adults willingly contribute to underage drinking, there are harsh consequences.
Buying liquor for a minor could end up being the most expensive drink you will ever buy. You could end up paying about $4,100 if you violate this law.
